Head to this Oak Lawn Public Storage when searching for self storage options along Southwest Highway.
Situated just north from the intersection of Cicero Avenue and 95th Street, this facility offers climate controlled storage units, ranging from small to large, most of which come as indoor storage units with access from an interior hallway. There are also a number of outdoor storage units, as well as a handful of rental parking spaces for vehicle storage.
A few miles from I-294, I-94 and I-57, it's a convenient storage spot for customers throughout south central Cook County, including Burbank, Beverly, Bridgeview and Ashburn.
Just across the street from the Oak Lawn Community High School's Spartan Athletic Complex, families in the area can grab a 5x5 storage unit to keep all sports gear and athletic equipment within reach for easy access season to season.
A crowded basement is no match for a 10x10 storage unit, while boxes piling up inside a home office, packaged garage or cluttered spare bedroom can typically fit in a 10x15 storage unit.
For residents getting ready for a home renovation in the Hometown community, a 10x30 storage unit can easily fit everything from inside a five-bedroom home, including furniture and appliances.
With the redevelopment of downtown, thriving businesses and families who have called the village home for generations, life in Oak Lawn has never been better. Whenever a bit of extra storage space is called for, check out the selection at this Oak Lawn Public Storage, open 7 days a week.
3/10/2025 update: My rent is now $439/month - close to 2x my original rent of $233/month since arranging storage in 2023. This morning, I took a ride to swap out winter/spring items. A window is broken out, the front entrance door is out of service AGAIN, with a note to use the back entrance. I make my to the back entrance, the "secured door" is wide open. Zero security. Zero climate control - it was 35 this morning. Office doors are locked, no one is on duty. "We'll treat your stuff like it's our stuff" - Public Storage apparently doesn't care about their stuff or anyone else's. Current & potential renters beware, your belongings are up for grabs. ****** Original 1/2/2024 review: I pay over $300/month for storage space at this location. Headed over to put luggage in my storage unit on Tues 1/2/2024 at 12:00pm on my lunch break. Repeatedly put my code in, the building's roller door went up a couple inches & fell back down. Threw my car into reverse, parked, walked up to the office door - office door is locked, office is empty, lights are off, no note with a return time. I called, left a voicemail, waited around in my car for 45min - no reply, no one returned to the office. Two other customers pulled up & attempted to access the building as well. I wasted my lunch hour on an errand I couldn't complete. Per Public Storage's website, this location supposedly has a property manager onsite... except there's no one onsite and I have no access to the building, my storage unit, and belongings. I don't know how Public Storage can call itself "the leading provider of storage units for personal, business and vehicle needs," and have no one onsite during business hours, no notice posted that the entrance door requires service/is broken, no signage up that an employee will be back at a specific time, and the office phone isn't forwarded to live agents for customers who need assistance in real time. I've been home for almost 3 hours - still no call back re: when I can expect access to my storage unit & belongings. Update: I've raised my rating from one star to three stars - the DM called me, discussed the faulty door, flex hours & that staff are in-office intermittently, that the door should be repaired within the next day or so, and offered a credit for the inconvenience.
