Brandon Public Storage offers cheap self storage and excellent customer service in a convenient location, just east of Interstate 75.
Just south of the intersection between Providence Road and Causeway Boulevard/Lumsden Road, the storage options at this facility consist of indoor storage units, outdoor storage units and climate controlled storage units, all in varying sizes.
This facility is a short distance from I-75, U.S. 301 and Brandon Boulevard, making it an easily accessible location for customers from any direction in town.
In addition to a property manager who lives on site, other storage amenities at this location include storage locker rentals for smaller items and drive-up, enclosed storage units big enough for car storage or truck storage.
For families near Mintz Elementary School, there's no need to keep putting off that heavy-duty decluttering project at home. Grab a 10x20 storage unit to hold some old furniture, boxes of old clothes, a spare TV, bookcase, dresser and other bulky household items.
For businesses getting tight on space around the Westfield Brandon Mall, a 10x30 storage unit can easily open things up around the office by storing boxes, crates and pallets of merchandise, supplies or equipment just a few minutes from the workplace.
The Brandon community has seen rapid growth over the past few decades, especially after Interstate 75 opened up in the 1980s, allowing for easy access from the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area. As new families and new businesses continue to move to Brandon, Public Storage looks forward to helping residential and commercial storage customers alleviate their needs for extra storage space.
Never rent from this storage unit. I rented here for about 3-4 months and had to move my stuff out. First, theres no hand carts, which isnt horrible but a little annoying. Second, the main guy who works there is ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND EXTREMELY IRRITATING. Hes extremely dumb and I would use more colorful language but this review would probably be removed if I did. Third, I paid for a climate controlled unit but it was not climate controlled at all. I had lotion bottles explode from heat which ruined countless items in a few different boxes. Theres ants and roaches all over there. And LASTLY BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, I originally left the unit because of the poor quality of this storage facility and moved my stuff right over to another facility(it was that bad). I submitted complaints to the one of their customer support lines. I still owed $98 on the unit but they had told me to hold off on paying since these complaints justify me not having to pay(seeing as I paid for climate control which this was not) and they had assured me a regional manager would be reaching out to me and to not pay the $98 until then. No manager ever reached out to me and here we are with a bill from collections! I wouldve just paid the $98 since its literally not even much money but now theyre impacting my credit! I will be reporting to the BBB!!! This place is absolutely horrible!! Dont waste your time and try and find a compass storage nearby if you can!! Might be a little more $$ but worth it! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Gates are always broken

27.10.2025 Dear Public Storage Management I am writing report a serious incident that occurred at your facility involving a manager who misled me about office hours and falsely accused me of harassment. On the day of the incident, I arrived at the property at 5:17 PM. Prior to that, I had spoken with the manager by phone , At first she told me that she had a lot of people and she couldn't accept me today , and after she told me to arrive before 5:15 PM(nothing was said that she works until 5 pm ) When I got there (2min late ), she opened the door, and I politely asked her to allow me access to the storage unit I had won at auction. She first refused, saying that the weather was bad (there was some wind that had already stopped by 5:25 PM). Then she claimed that the office closes at 5:00 PM. However, according to both Public Storages website and customer support, the facility is officially open until 6:00 PM. After realizing that the discussion was going nowhere, I returned to my car and contacted customer support to confirm the hours. Around 5:35 PM, I knocked on the office door again while still on the phone with customer service. When she opened the door, I informed her that customer service confirmed the office should be open until 6:00 PM. At that point, she suddenly told me to leave immediately, accused me of harassing her, and said that I had entered private property, even though I was standing on the public parking area directly in front of the office. I calmly responded that I would file a formal complaint about her behavior, to which she threatened to call the police. I then remained in my car, waiting for a call back from customer service to resolve the situation. Around 5:45 PM, the manager came out again and repeated her false accusation, claiming that I was harassing her simply by sitting in my car in the parking lot. She again threatened to call the police if I did not leave. I waited until 6:00 PM, but no one from customer support followed up, and I eventually left at 5:58 PM. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. The managers false accusation of harassment constitutes defamation and was clearly used as an attempt to intimidate and manipulate me instead of providing basic customer service. I respectfully request that you investigate this incident, review the surveillance footage, and take appropriate disciplinary action against this employee. I also expect a formal written response from Public Storage regarding this matter. False accusations are serious and can have legal consequences. I will not allow this incident to be ignored or dismissed. Thank you for your attention
Mandy was amazing so helpful Thank you
