03-12-2026I was unable to pay two months of rent, and this facility sold all of my items. I explained to them that I own a small landscaping business, and sometimes business has ups and downs. Unfortunately, it was during my slow season, and I could not afford the payment at that time. I tried speaking with the manager and asked if we could work something out. She told me she would give me a call to see what she could do, but I never received a call from her. One week later, I received an email saying that all of my items had been sold for $200. I believe this is very unfair because the tools and equipment I stored there were worth almost $4,000, yet they were sold for only $200. I also still owe them three months of rent. In comparison, when I had trouble paying my storage at U-Haul, they allowed me extra time. They gave me up to eight months to catch up, and when I had the money, I paid five months of rent.
