This Midtown Public Storage near Ansley Park gives Atlanta customers a variety of self storage options, from small to large and just about every size in between.
Right near the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and Monroe Drive, a short distance from I-85, this facility boasts a huge selection of climate controlled storage units and indoor storage units. There are also outdoor storage units with drive-up accessibility.
One mile north of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and the popular Piedmont Park, grab a 5x10 storage unit at this facility to hold anything from soccer and softball gear for when it's time to hit the sports fields, to tables, supplies and canopies for vendors regularly setting up shop at the park's Green Market.
Roughly four miles north frown downtown Atlanta, families searching for some extra space near the Virginia-Highland neighborhood will find what they are looking for at this location. A 10x10 storage unit can help declutter the garage or the kids' bedrooms in a hurry, while a 10x20 storage unit is big enough to hold old living room furniture when it's time to upgrade some of the home furnishings.
From families who have lived here for generations to new families and new businesses that are still settling in, it's easy to see what makes Atlanta one of the premiere cities in the country to call home. Even Hollywood has come calling in recent years, with production for major hits like "The Walking Dead," "The Hunger Games" and "The Vampire Diaries" all shooting around Atlanta.
Of course, with a population that ranks Atlanta near the top of the nation's largest cities, "The ATL" can get a little crowded at times – and that's where Public Storage comes in. From storage lockers to extra-large 10x30 storage units, and a handful of different sizes in between, it's hard to find a storage haul this Midtown Atlanta Public Storage isn't ready to tackle.
DO NOT use this facility! While (military deployed) living overseas, I used this facility and my unit was broken into 2 separate occasions over a span of 2 years. They do not assist in any way w/ working with APD in receiving police reports mandatory for insurance claims and do not return calls after multiple attempts. ***Im almost certain the break-in was an inside job related to one of their employees. As soon as I notify the manager & facility that I cannot move my unit for their site renovations bc I am military overseas, my unit then gets broken into ransacked & targeted for my military gear and (personal) weapons that I am not allowed to bring overseas.
Over all a less than stellar experience. Ive been a client for 15 yrs. Ive had two break ins and no reconciliation! Also over the years the price increase has been shocking. And I was told three days before closing I had to be out ! I cant even think about the money Ive given to public storage over the past 15 years. Whos the fool?
This place is filthy, and there was a dead mouse the last time I visited. The elevator is so slow when you call it, but when you want to unload something the doors are so quick to close. There's homeless people living out of it that leave emergency back doors open, but if you leave a couple of minutes after they close at 6 they send you multiple notifications that it isn't allowed. Apparently they are renovating it, which means that they are kicking out a lot of people on very short notice. I count myself lucky that I'm part of that, because my new storage unit is much better in all respects.
